If you are under 25 and live in Southall or Norwood Green we may be able to help. A couple of hundred years ago a man named Francis Courtney left some money in his will to help the poor of these areas with their education.
So every year we still give out about six grants, of £500 each, from his money.
This can be used for fees or maintenance at any school, university, or other places of learning; or providing clothing, tools, books or a laptop to help to in your studies; or to enter, a profession, trade or calling.
How do I apply for the grant?
The application form for the Francis Courtney grant accepts applications annually between 1st of June and 31st of August.
