Pilgrim’s Lodge sheltered housing was established in 1863 and modernised in 1995/6. The scheme consists of seven one-bedroom flats: three on the ground floor, three on the first floor and one on two storeys.
The scheme has a large communal lounge/guest room and laundry facilities. There are secluded gardens to the rear of the building, with controlled parking in the surrounding roads.
24 hour emergency cover provided through the Anchorcall telephone alarm system.

How to apply
The governing rules of this almshouse require applicants to be of Protestant faith. They do not need to be actively practising.
