The Pathways Main Grants Programme is open to community and voluntary groups working in Ealing and Brentford that meet a set of criteria.
The Main Grants programme can/will fund:
strengthen the voluntary and community sector
aim to alleviate poverty tackling root causes
promote healthy living and eating opportunities for disadvantaged groups
provide for those on low incomes
overcome isolation
tackle homelessness or people threatened with homelessness amongst non-statutory groups
support for victims of domestic violence
assist disadvantaged people within the community to access local services
meet the emotional and physical needs of disadvantaged people who have (or who care for those who have) a physical or learning disability or suffer from a debilitating illness, for which no other funding is available.
provide counselling and support services for those who find it hard to cope with everyday life
improve employment and educational opportunities.
Pathways grants are awarded to cover start-up, core or project costs.
The Main Grants programme will not fund:
projects which do not benefit the residents of Ealing and/ or Brentford
individuals
projects which trustees consider ought properly to be funded by statutory funders such as local and central government and the health authority
commercial organisations
projects which have already happened
travel, transport costs
projects or organisations that exclude beneficiaries on the grounds of religious or political beliefs
projects or organisations that do not adhere to our equal opportunities policy
capital costs
organisations with free reserves more than three months its operational costs
general appeals
academic research
hospitals and schools
ecology and animal welfare
applicants who have been rejected by us in the last 12 months
organisations that are currently receiving grant funding from us, unless this is coming to an end within the next 10 months.
